Service Learning Partners

Service Learning Partners
The Walking the Walk Youth Initiative partners with organizations in the Philadelphia area in order to complete projects that are both meaningful and thoughtful. Walking the Walk youth also examine the root causes of social issues, rather than simply completing a routine project. The Walking the Walk Youth Initiative allows an opportunity for youth to put their shared values into action through the service learning component of the program.
 
Most high schools allow students participation in the Walking the Walk youth initiative to count toward the school’s community service requirements.
