Facilitating Civil Conversations
This half-day workshop equips facilitators with practical tools to lead meaningful dialogues across lines of difference—in their communities, on campus, in the workplace, and in the classroom. It takes place at Temple University, offering a welcoming campus setting for our gathering.
Facilitators will:
- Gain knowledge, techniques, and incremental confidence in conversing across differences.
- Explore case studies and practice skills for navigating conflict in conversations.
- Receive a companion Facilitator Toolkit and Online Resource Guide.
Participants in this training put these ideas into practice by organizing conversations in their communities. Interfaith Philadelphia staff can be available to help support those ongoing experiences.
This immersive workshop equips facilitators with the essential tools to foster meaningful dialogue within their communities, congregations, and workplaces.
Trainers: Bronwen Henry and Rev. Betty White
