Tami Astorino, M.Ed.
Facilitator
Tami Astorino, M.Ed., has spent thirty years as a facilitator, leading thousands of people through workshops and retreats designed to foster deep connection and community. With a Master’s degree in Counseling Psychology, Tami focuses on creating spaces where participants can listen across differences and build the self-awareness needed to truly stand with one another. This commitment began in her early career as a school counselor, which gave her a practical foundation for the group facilitation and community-building work she does today.
Tami’s career has been rooted in the nonprofit sector, where she has served as an educational specialist and speaker for organizations like 18Doors, which supports people in interfaith relationships, and Moving Traditions. Combining this experience with her background in movement and yoga, she co-founded Rise Gatherings, where she facilitates transformational retreats for women that integrate nature, storytelling, and community connection.
Beyond her professional roles, Tami is a dedicated lay leader in the Jewish community. She has held leadership positions with the Jewish Federation and shares her grandfather’s Holocaust survival story through the Living Links Shoah Foundation. Tami makes her home in New Hope, Pennsylvania, and Sarasota, Florida.
