His professional background includes work with institutions such as the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania, Thomas Jefferson University and Hospitals, and Abbott Diagnostics.

A practicing Sikh, Jasbir has been actively engaged in interfaith work since relocating from India to Philadelphia in 2002. He is deeply committed to fostering understanding across religious traditions and building meaningful connections within the broader community.
