Remembrance and Liberation: Images from Passover and Holy Week

Wednesday, April 5, 2017

On April 5, visitors toured the museum's rich collection of artworks and were introduced to the basic themes and practices associated with Judaism’s observance of Passover and Christianity’s observance of Holy Week. Participants were invited to reflect on the meanings of their own observances, with the goals of identifying how Passover and Holy Week are related to each other and discovering their significance for issues we face today. The conversation was enriched by a group of people with diverse cultural, religious, and ideological identities.
