Come Along for our First Ever 'Walk for Understanding'!

Thursday, June 15, 2017

On July 9th, the Interfaith Center staff and individuals from around the region will participate in our first ever Walk for Understanding. Over the past six months, 75 women met regularly to learn from one another and creatively think about their role in their own communities to bridge difference and reduce bias, bigotry, and conflict. This ten mile walk will follow a route that touches each of the faith communities that have served as hosts during the program, starting at Main Line Reform Temple, and visiting, in turn, the Baha'i Center, Bawa, the Sikh Society, and the Episcopal Cathedral. Join us! Your participation, donation, or role as a champion are so important!

When:  Sunday, July 9, 2017  |  8:00 AM - (approximately) 2:00 PM
Start Location:  Main Line Reform Temple, 410 Montgomery Ave, Wynnewood
End Location:  Philadelphia Episcopal Cathedral, 23 S 38th Street, Philadelphia

The Interfaith Champions below have been raising money for a number of causes this spring, including a 10-mile run, graduation celebrations in support of new programming, and the Interfaith Center's 5th Annual Ride for Understanding. Thanks for your support and thanks to all our champions for leading the cause!
