St. Joe's Prep Students Spend a Week Learning, Serving, and Interfaith Exploring

Sunday, June 25, 2017

This June, St. Joseph's Preparatory School sent seven young men and two great adult coordinators to us for an alternative break. After seven long, challenging, but fun-filled days, we have so much to be thankful for.

Thank you to Philadelphia Shambhala Center, International House Philadelphia, Baha'i Community of Phila, Gurdwara Philadelphia Sikh Society, Nzinga Aziz and Husnaa Hashim, and Congregation Rodeph Shalom for hosting the St. Joseph's Prep's Alternative Break group. We enjoyed connecting with you all and learning about your faiths!

Thank you to our service learning partners—Grace Cafe, Philadelphia Parks and Recreation, Asian Arts Initiative, MANNA (Metropolitan Area Neighborhood Nutrition Alliance), and Depaul USA—for St. Joseph's Prep's Alternative Break Trip last week!
