The Inaugural 2016 Inter-Seminary Retreat

Friday, June 10, 2016

Nearly forty faculty and staff from thirteen seminaries and religious training centers in the greater Philadelphia region joined together at the Inter-Seminary Initiative Retreat to collaborate, learn, and dialogue about interfaith education as a means to better prepare students for vocations in religious leadership. This retreat featured a plenary session, a panel presentation, workshops, affinity group conversations, a reception hosted by seminary presidents, and much more; all of which was generously provided for by the E. Rhodes and Leona B. Carpenter Foundation and the Wabash Center. As the Inter-Seminary Initiative continues, more opportunities to bridge the various academic institutions preparing the next generation of religious leaders in the greater Philadelphia region will continue!
