Join us for the 2016 Dare to Understand Concert and Awards Presentation!

Thursday, February 11, 2016

The annual Dare to Understand Award honors community leaders of distinction. Recipients, through their actions, reflect the Center’s commitment to diversity and challenge barriers with understanding. With this award, we celebrate those who “dare to understand” in bold ways and applaud the courage it takes to cross lines of difference and work together for the common good.

When:  Tuesday, May 3, 2016

              7:00 p.m.

Where: Philadelphia Episcopal Cathedral

              23 S. 38th Street.

              Philadelphia, PA 19104

This year, we are delighted that this year’s Dare to Understand Award will recognize the community leader and interfaith advocate, Gity Banan-Etemad, physician and founding board member of the Interfaith Center, as well as The Honorable Michael Nutter, former Mayor of Philadelphia. Our 2016 concert, curated by Andrea Clearfield in the Salon style, will feature a number of local musicians and artists, highlighting the breadth of artistry and culture in our region.
