Rev. Nicole D. Diroff
Rev. Nicole D. Diroff serves as the Associate Director at Interfaith Philadelphia, where she has been a member of the staff team since 2007. She provides oversight for the organization’s many Dare to Understand initiatives, coordinates the Religious Leaders Council of Greater Philadelphia, and directs Interfaith Philadelphia’s Year of Civil Conversations and Passport to Understanding projects. In recent years she led the organization through both a strategic planning process and evaluation / impact tracking consultation.
Nicole has presented, preached, led workshops, and/or served as a guest lecturer at the Parliament of the World’s Religions, Southeastern Pennsylvania Consortium for Higher Education Diversity Conference, Messiah College Human Rights Chapel Series, Eastern University, and United Lutheran Seminary. She represents the United Church of Christ on the National Council of Churches Interfaith Relations Convening Table, is one of the Co-Conveners for the National Council of Churches / National Council of Synagogues Dialogue, and a member of the Please Touch Museum’s Community Advisory Group for their America to Zanzibar Exhibit on Islam. She is ordained in the United Church of Christ and a graduate of the Lutheran Theological Seminary at Philadelphia and Ohio Wesleyan University.
When she’s not engaged in grassroots interfaith relationship building, she can be found at a playground with her son, hiking with her dogs, or reading memoirs at a coffee shop.
