Maggie Loesch

CCP Kensington Program Coordinator

Maggie graduated from the Tyler School of Art and Architecture with her degree in Community Development in 2020. While in school, she also took classes in journalism, and helped co-found hyperlocal news publication Kensington Voice, which is focused on repairing the relationship between media and the neighborhood and building capacity of citizen journalists to shape narratives. Maggie has also worked at The Philadelphia Inquirer, local city planning firm Interface Studio, and completed research on public spaces and the ways they are evaluated.

Her work approach centers around listening and storytelling to foster understanding of one another and enact change on the world around us. This fall, she will begin her Master of City Planning degree at the University of California - Berkeley. When she isn't working, you can find Maggie listening to music, skateboarding, or crafting.
