Jessica Miller is a graduate student at Drew Theological School pursuing a Master of Divinity. She grew up in Telford, PA, just north of Philadelphia, and received her BA in Elementary Education from Eastern Mennonite University in Harrisonburg, VA in 2011. After completing her undergraduate degree, she spent two years teaching overseas at Lezha Academic Center in Lezha Albania. During her time in Albania she had the opportunity to facilitate after-school dialogue among students about their various faith backgrounds, their religious skepticism, and their deeply held convictions. Upon returning to the states, Jessica pursued a career in pastoral ministry within the Mennonite church. She currently serves as Associate Pastor at Perkasie Mennonite Church. She hopes that she will be able to use what she learns during her internship at the Interfaith Center to educate the congregation about interfaith work and its connection to the church’s values of peacemaking and justice.
