10:00 AM - 4:00 PM
(Door Open/Coffee - 9:30 AM)
Lancaster Theological Seminary
555 W James St, Lancaster, PA 17603
We invite faculty and staff, department chairs, deans, presidents of area seminaries, along with area clergy, to join in a day of Retreat to explore the richness of music from multiple religious traditions. Whether instrumental, choral, call to prayer, chanting or percussion, we feel the power of its vibrations.
Historically, there have been time periods and/or movements within our faith traditions where music has been restricted or censored all together. Sacred music, in its many forms, calls to us. The theme of the retreat will provide opportunity to uncover and share what music is doing when we gather. We welcome you to gather for this time of refreshing and discovery.
The registration fee for this event is $25 and includes lunch.
