Msgr. Gregory Fairbanks

 

Reverend Msgr. Gregory J. Fairbanks, HIST. E.D., HIST. E.L., M.A., M.DIV. is currently the Dean of the School of Diaconal Formation and a professor of Church History at St. Charles Borromeo Seminary in Overbrook, PA which is the same place where he was awarded the M.Div. and M.A. He pursued these degrees after receiving his Bachelor's Degree at Villanova University. He later received his Hist. E.D. and Hist. E.L. at The Pontifical Gregorian University in Rome, Italy.


Msgr. Gregory J. Fairbanks joined the Interfaith Philadelphia Board after having been involved in the agency’s Inter-Seminary Initiative. As well, he has spent many years on the Pontifical Council for Promoting Christian Unity as well as supporting inter and intra religious dialogue. He has also served as a Board Member of the American Catholic Historical Society.
