Rev. Fritz Fowler

Fritz Fowler (he, him, his) joined the board of the Interfaith Center in 2019.  He is the Pastor of University Lutheran Church in University City, Philadelphia and the Lutheran Campus Pastor at the University of Pennsylvania.

Fritz is a graduate of Kingswood University, Sussex, New Brunswick, Canada and was awarded the Master of Divinity from the Lutheran Theological Seminary at Gettysburg, Gettysburg, PA in 2014.  In 2018 he was named as a G. Douglas Lewis Fellow at Wesley Theological Seminary, Washington, DC.  Since 2016 he has served on the Administrative Group of the Religious Leaders Council representing the Office of the Bishop of the Southeastern Pennsylvania Synod of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America.

In his free time, Fritz is a triathlete and a young friend of both the Philadelphia Orchestra and Pennsylvania Ballet.  He lives in the Old City neighborhood with his husband of 3 years and their 14-year-old husky shepherd, Tip.
