Interfaith Peace Walk

All are invited to the 2022 Interfaith Peace Walk! The walk will begin at 2:00 p.m. at Germantown Friends Meeting and progress to St. Timothy’s Episcopal (Roxborough),  and then wrapping up at Mishkan Shalom (also in Roxborough). 

This walk will include opportunities to visit with people of many faiths and diverse backgrounds.  At each location there will be a brief gathering OUTDOORS (with the exception of entry indoors for Muslim Prayers at the last stop - or for use of bathrooms at all stops).

IMPORTANT PARKING INFORMATION

PARKING is available at the Jamestown Medical Building (525 Jamestown AvenuePhila, PA 19128) on the grounds of Roxborough Memorial Hospital across RidgeAvenue from St Timothy's Episcopal Church.Look for Peace Walk parking signs and balloons to direct you to the specific part of the Jamestown Avenue lot.

Please do not park at Germantown Friends Meeting, our first stop. BUSES will transport people from Roxborough Hospital's "Jamestown Parking Lot" toGermantown Friends Meeting starting at 1:15pm. The buses then will be availableto follow the Walkers (if you are unable to walk or prefer riding) from GermantownFriends Meeting to St. Timothy's, our second stop.

St. Timothy's is a short walk to our final stop, Mishkan Shalom, which is a short walk back to the parking lot.Buses will also be available to transport those not walking to Mishkan Shalom and, startingat 5:00pm, anyone who wants a ride to the parking lot up until 6:00pm
