Emily Zislis

Emily Zislis is a Sophomore at the University of Pennsylvania studying Cultural Anthropology with a minor in Latino Studies. Emily first became passionate about promoting interfaith dialogue after traveling extensively throughout Indonesia, a country home to a rich diversity of religions. While living and working with host families in the Dominican Republic, Nicaragua, and Mexico, she found herself engaged in many conversations about her religious identity, provoking deep reflection, as well as a great amount of confusion. During her free time at Penn, Emily is a performer for Penn's premier Latin dance troupe, Onda Latina, the president of Buddhism Club, and she is a member of the Reform Jewish Community.
