Ana West is a senior at the University of Pennsylvania, majoring in English and minoring in East Asian Languages and Civilizations with a concentration in Chinese. At Penn, Ana is involved in the Christian Association and the Queer Christian Fellowship, along with sexual assault prevention work. She is interested in interfaith social justice organizing, the intersection of spirituality and mental health, and religious responses to violence and interpersonal harm. After graduation, she hopes to attend seminary or social work school.
Originally from Grand Haven, Michigan, Ana is a proud Midwesterner who loves Philadelphia and believes that it’s probably the best city in the world. In her free time, she enjoys reading, writing, and running (with long breaks to stop and walk).
