Friday, May 9, a dedicated and enthusiastic crew of supporters gathered for Interfaith Philadelphia’s Ride/Walk for Understanding—a celebration of connection, community, and shared purpose.
Originally scheduled for Sunday, May 4, the event was postponed due to rain… but as luck would have it, the skies opened up again on Friday! Still, a few intrepid participants laced up their walking shoes or hopped on their bikes, and joined us on the Schuylkill River Trail.
From the 5K route to the 30-mile ride, these determined individuals showed that the spirit of understanding can’t be washed away by a little rain.
Thanks to the incredible generosity of our community, we raised $11,000 in support of Interfaith Philadelphia’s mission to foster interfaith understanding and cooperation.
Whether you walked, rode, donated, or cheered us on from home—we’re so grateful you were part of it.
We’re already looking forward to next year’s Ride/Walk for Understanding—hopefully with a bit more sunshine!
