The 2018 Dare to Understand Awards

 

On April 12, more than 300 people from the Philadelphia region gathered at Temple University's Mitten Hall for a night of poetry, percussion, and interfaith understanding.

Over the course of the evening, Interfaith Philadelphia recognized PECO, Jane Golden, and Husnaa Hashim for their dedication to spreading interfaith understanding throughout the Philadelphia region. All three were awarded with our Annual Dare to Understand Award, honoring individuals of distinction who courageously cross lines of difference and work together for the common good.
