On day one of our Second Annual Inter-Seminary Retreat, twenty-five faculty and staff from twelve seminaries and religious training centers in the greater Philadelphia region joined together to collaborate, learn, and dialogue about interfaith education as a means to better prepare students for vocations in religious leadership. The retreat featured a keynote address by Dr. Lucinda Mosher of NeighborFaith Consultancy and Harford Seminary; small group conversations with members of Philadelphia’s Religious Leaders Council; a panel presentation; and affinity group conversations.

This year, for the first time, a second day was offered for students of theological schools and those participating in CPE throughout the region.  Over fifty students heard presentations by Dr. Mosher, and then worked together to wrestle with short case studies.

Funding for both days of the Retreat was generously provided by the E. Rhodes and Leona B. Carpenter Foundation and the Wabash Center.
